Thank you Coraopolis!

This is a difficult post to make, and one we have rewritten many times, trying to get it just right.

Snappy’s Taphouse has been an incredible journey for us. Being part of the Coraopolis community and getting to know all of you has been the highlight of this adventure. But, as they say, all journeys must eventually come to an end.

Friday, October 30th will be Snappy’s last day of service.

This is a personal decision that was not made lightly. As most of you know, we have four wonderful sons who are growing WAY too fast. Owning a small business in today’s world is no easy task, and we’ve reached a point where the benefits of the business no longer outweigh the personal sacrifices required to keep it going.

​

We’re excited to have the opportunity to spend more quality time with our children while they’re all still living at home.

So, what will the next month look like?

This week, nothing will change. Everyone’s favorite chef, Logan, will be moving on to a new adventure as well. His last day will be this Saturday, October 3rd. Stop in this week to say goodbye and enjoy one more of your favorite meals! He has been an integral part of Snappy's and will be missed, but we wish him all the best in his next chapter.

Starting next week and continuing through the end of the month, we will be closed on Wednesdays and will begin phasing out our food service.

We will still be hosting Snappy’s Slash House, our Halloween pop-up bar!

Then, on Friday, October 30th, we’ll be holding a Halloween party and costume contest at 7 PM. Dress up, stop by, and come say goodbye!

Finally, Snappy’s wouldn’t be what it is without all of you. Many of you have become more than just regulars — you’ve become our friends. We will cherish all of the memories we’ve made together, and we will truly miss seeing you every week.

So, over the next month, please stop in and make one more memory with us. Post your pictures and favorite stories from Snappy’s here. We’ve been through a lot together over nearly five years, so let’s take this chance to remember all the good times.
